SAVING WATER MEASURES

What can we do to save water?

Water is such an important resource for life that it is crucial to educate children in relation to the respect for the environment and promote good values among them. Both raising awareness about the importance of saving water and teaching some measures that all of us should put into practise, are some advice that we as teacher must follow.

Throughout this speaking activity, students will have the opportunity to practice oral skills as well as work on social and civil competences. 

After distributing the students in small groups of four or five children, each group will be given two packs of cards: the first one contains the pictures and the second one contains the explanations of each action represented on the pictures.

Students will have to discuss in oral English to agree and finally match each explanation with its correspondent picture.
